Mason is 7 months!

Happy 7 months.. Wow and what a month it has been.  You started off on the rough road. You came down with the stomach bug about 4 weeks ago, which ended with a not so pleasant stay in the hospital. You were kept for observation and fluids.  I will post on that later. Then a week after that you had an ear infection.. Glad to report you are all better!

You are so big now, you have learned how to sit up all by yourself. You are loving this new freedom and so is mommy. I believe by the end of this month you might just be crawling. I know most would say oh no I don't like that stage but honestly I will love it and I think you will too. You are so strong willed and determined. I say you in the crib the other day to change Logan, when I came back you were on your knees chewing the side of the crib!!! Guess it's time to lower it =)

Things you are doing:

sitting up

rolling all over the floor

eating your piggies!

picking up your little puffs off of you highchair and putting in your mouth

laughing at your brother and sisters

blowing raspberries

eating table foods { you are refusing baby food now}

You are playing more by yourself, you tend to be more content that you can sit up. You laugh all the time, and love to watch Mickey or your brother play.

You are still nursing great and are on a pretty good schedule.

You are eating lots of finger foods like yogurt melts, puffs, Cheerios, cheese..

You have been going to KDO at church since I have been working and you love it. It has been good for the both of us.

We recently had some really nice weather, you really enjoy being outside =)

Your sleeping is getting much much better. You tend to take two naps now and the afternoon one usually last 2 hours, this makes me sooooo happy!!

Your getting so big so fast.. I love you baby!

Funny things...

I always mean to write down the funny things my kids say and do so I do don't forget, well then I forget!! Ha... so Im determined to do a better job of writing them down so I can remember forever!

Tonight on the way home from church it was just me and Audrey in the car. She was talking all kinds of randomness and then she goes into animal sounds {generally this is only done when Logan is with us}.. Mom a cow says moo, a horse says naw, a dog goes ruff, ect... then she says hey mom a giraffe says ------ there was silence.. I said um hunny I don't think they make a sound, she proceeded to say "Ya I know that's why I was quite"!!! She is so silly!

Logan has recently been hooked on all the Toy Story movies, I mean he will beg for it as soon as he wakes up in the mornings. Its so sweet he calls it Buzz! But now that we have watched it a billion times =) ... I don't say that lightly! He now will actually get the parts and laugh.. he tells me " oh mom that is so bunny!" ~ which means funny! I absolutely love this stage!

Rosalyn is all about drawing these days, everyday its a new one. I love all of her art. She always tells me that she wants to be an art teacher when she grows up! I think she is pretty good =)

Ashes Ashes we all fall down!

snow days

Well we are going on our 8th or 9th snow day so far, wow we have NEVER had this much snow. Last week the kids were out Tues-Friday. This week we were suppose to get 4-6in and woke up to about 10 and it kept snowing all day we have about 20 or more inches... I love it.. It is so beautiful outside and last week Ben was home all week with us.. Everything in town has closed even the bank which is a huge deal. Walmart is open but all the home offices and a lot of the warehouses are shut down... I love how this weather forces us to be a family and let nothing from the outside crazyiness of life get in the way! ~ well at least for a while..

So we have been up to a lot the past few weeks, when we haven't been snowed in. We have been baking goodies like crazy.. we have made thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies, brownies, peanut butter,oatmeal cookies, peanut butter chocolate bars and sugar cookies. They are all homemade and just yummy.. Probably not a good thing since Ive only been to the gym 2 times in the past 2 weeks!!

6 months old

Can't believe how fast six months has gone by... My baby boy is getting sooo big.. Our family is complete with this baby boy.... How how your brother and sisters adore you!

 You are doing so much now

You started eating foods last month, you now have cereal with bananas for breakfast {you will only eat it with bananas} then you have a veggie for dinner. You are going to start yogurt this month.

Your favorite foods are bananas and sweet potatoes

You like your food cold, I find this very odd =) I have tried to warm it but you won't take it.

You are grabbing everything in your sight

You love things that make a crinkle sound

You love attention! As long as someone is talking to you your happy!

You are a for sure mamma's boy, if I am around you want no one else!

You are very gentle, you rub my face and arms all the time

 You love to play in the saucer and watch Mickey Mouse

You love to take naps on me

You are doing better in the car, not crying anymore this makes mommy happy!!

 You were sick for the first time this month, you had croup and it was scary and sad, you are doing better now.

You are teething like crazy so we are trying to comfort you with lots of love and teething tablets!

You are almost sitting up by yourself, you will sit if your supported.

You love the going to the church nursery

You love to play with your toes

You just started reaching for me =)

The Tooth Fairy is Broke!

 As you can clearly see Audrey it toothless... She now has 4 top teeth gone and has lost 3 on bottom of which two have grown in. She lost on Friday at school, and then last night at her cousins they both lost a tooth!! She looks so cute.... She does have a extra tooth growing in on top, the dentist said we will just have it pulled which will allow her normal teeth to grow in.. The tooth fairy is going broke at our house...
